As a leader in the industry fully committed to quality, Wasea Metal Industries became the first metal building company in Western Canada to be certified to a registered quality assurance program. Subsequent to this Wasea developed its own internal quality assurance program, designed to meet the specific quality requirements of Wasea. This program is ISO 9003-94 equivalent. Wasea's welding department is certified with CWB to CSA Standard W47.1, and the company maintains WCB accounts in both Alberta and BC.

The nature of Wasea's basic product means it has no negative environmental impact. However, in our manufacturing process we take extreme care to ensure proper containment of liquids or paint bi-products which may in themselves have impacts on the environment. In addition we have a formal program that ensures all scrap material is effectively recycled. The third key element in ensuring a positive environmental consciousness is the training of our field erection crews to ensure all remote building project sites are left clean of any scrap material when the building erection is complete.
